The Wait is Over!

Pickleball has arrived at Harbor Island Park in the Village of Mamaroneck! SPORTIME Harbor Island’s new, outdoor pickleball center, featuring four, individually fenced, regulation courts, is ready for play, just in time for summer 2025!

This beautiful, new, Outdoor Pickleball Center, will be open for an extended season through November, 2025, and every April through November thereafter, as weather allows. The facility will offer court-time rentals, open-plays, clinics, private coaching, tournaments, special events and more!

Grand Opening Celebration and Community Play Event Scheduled for July 19

MAMARONECK, NY – July 14, 2025 – Pickleball has officially arrived at SPORTIME Harbor Island, where four new, oversized, individually fenced courts now welcome Village of Mamaroneck residents and SPORTIME members and players. The new facility, which will be operated by SPORTIME as the longtime licensee of the Village, along with the 8 red-clay tennis courts that SPORTIME has been operating year-round at Harbor Island since 2002, will be open seasonally from April through November, as weather allows, and will offer court-time rentals, open-play sessions, clinics, private lessons, leagues, tournaments, and special events. 
 

Located in scenic Harbor Island Park, often referred to as the Jewel of Mamaroneck, SPORTIME expects the new pickleball facility to become a vibrant area hub for the fastest-growing sport in America. SPORTIME Pickleball members and players will enjoy a recently renovated clubhouse, including a welcoming lounge and modern locker rooms. Open 365 days a year, SPORTIME Harbor Island now offers SPORTIME’s proprietary instructional and competitive programs for both tennis and pickleball, for juniors and adults of all levels. SPORTIME’s active member community will now expand to welcome hundreds of picklers, who will enhance the club’s dynamic, year-round racket and paddle sports experience.

To celebrate SPORTIME Harbor Island’s new pickleball facility, members, guests, and the public are invited to join SPORTIME for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, to be followed by a complimentary open-play event, on Saturday, July 19, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Attendees will meet SPORTIME coaches and staff, enjoy light refreshments, and have an opportunity to try out the new courts. 

SPORTIME Memberships to access the new pickleball courts are available for just $20/month, and include advance reservation privileges, monthly member benefits, and reciprocal privileges at other SPORTIME pickleball locations. Village of Mamaroneck Residents will receive an exclusive 10% discount on membership, court-time, and program costs.

The Village of Mamaroneck requires a daily parking pass or a seasonal parking permit to park in Harbor Island Park between Memorial Day and Labor Day. For your convenience, SPORTIME members who will be playing tennis at our facility during our outdoor season will be given a parking pass for the summer. These passes are now available for pick up at our reception desk. The passes we provide are NOT to display in your car's window; they are to present to the attendant in the booth at the entrance of the park, who will then provide you with a 4-hour, single use pass for you to display in your window.

If you are coming to the club for the first time after May 23rd, please come 10-15 minutes early, as you will need to pick up the SPORTIME pass and then go back to the entrance of the park to receive your 4-hour pass. After your first visit, simply keep the SPORTIME pass in your car for Park entry.

Player/Camper Drop Off – No Permit Required:

When dropping off a player or camper, parents/guardians may simply notify the gate attendant that you are dropping off and will not be parking. The gate attendant will not charge you for parking and will give you a 10-15 minute pass for your window, so that you do not get ticketed while dropping off.

If you are Non-Member, but plan to play at the club as a guest or on a per-diem basis, you will not be required to pay for parking when visiting SPORTIME. Just come to the club a few minutes early so that we may provide you with a SPORTIME daily pass, which you will show the parking attendant at the entrance of the park to obtain your 4-hour pass.

PLEASE NOTE: the Village of Mamaroneck will ticket any car that does not display a valid parking pass, and SPORTIME will not be able to help you once you receive a ticket, so please see us first for your SPORTIME pass, use that pass to receive the appropriate parking pass from the Village attendant, and display such pass in your vehicle each time you park!
